#1 Magaluf — the king (94% "book again")
Magaluf is the UK stag default for a reason. The Strip is a single, walkable, English-speaking corridor of bars and clubs. Hotels are stag-friendly. Performers know the format. Most importantly: you can do a 4-night stag in Magaluf for under £400 per person all-in (flights + hotel + activities + nights out). Nothing else in Europe matches that price point.
Watch out for: Magaluf has tightened its public-drinking and street-noise laws in the last two seasons. Stay disciplined or face fines.
#2 Benidorm — the most underrated (89%)
Benidorm gets unfairly written off as "the older brother of Magaluf." In 2026, Benidorm is genuinely a stronger pick for stags over 30 who want the Brit-friendly infrastructure without the strip chaos. Levante Beach has the nightlife. The Old Town has the tapas. Hotels are stag-tolerant.
Watch out for: the high-rise hotels around Rincón de Loix can be tough on sleep — pick wisely.
#3 Marbella — the polarising winner (87%)
Marbella is brilliant for the right stag — and a waste of money for the wrong one. Right stag: 8-12 lads, mixed ages 28-45, willing to spend on Puerto Banús nights, want a step up from Magaluf. Wrong stag: 16 lads under 25 on a tight budget. Costs are 2-3× Magaluf.
Watch out for: Puerto Banús club entry costs and table minimums. Plan and prepay.
#4 Salou — the growing one (78%)
Salou is what Benidorm was 15 years ago. The Strip is rapidly upgrading, the hotels are competitive, the price point is excellent, and you're under 90 minutes from Barcelona airport. The "would book again" rate has gone up every year since 2022.
Watch out for: shoulder season weekends can be quiet. Stag-friendly venues need a heads-up if you're 12+.
#5 Tenerife — reliable but slipping (76%)
Las Américas remains a solid stag destination — guaranteed sun, English-speaking infrastructure, beach + Strip combo. But the "would book again" rate has dropped 8 points in two years. The reason: groups feel it's getting expensive without the upgrade in nightlife to match.
#6 Ibiza — iconic, expensive, wrong fit for many (71%)
Ibiza is unmatched if you want a clubbing-focused stag with deep-house DJ sets and yacht days. It's the wrong destination if you want pints with the lads in a sports bar. Many UK stag groups book Ibiza thinking it'll be a chiller Magaluf — it isn't. Budget £80-£150 per ticket for the headline club nights, plus drinks.
#7 Barcelona — beautiful, but tough (64%)
The lowest "book again" rate of the major destinations. Why? Barcelona is too spread out to run a stag through. The nightlife is amazing but it's in 5 different barrios, transport is needed, and the group will fragment by night 2. Great for a couples' weekend; not for a stag.
#8 Madrid — not really a stag city (52%)
Madrid is a brilliant capital for tapas, football and culture. It's not really a stag city. The clubs close at 6am but the city doesn't have a "stag corridor" — you're zigzagging across barrios. We deliver stripogram bookings here every weekend but the post-show consensus is usually "next time, somewhere else."

- Tight budget, under-30 lads, want a riot: Magaluf.
- Mid-budget, mid-30s, balanced weekend: Benidorm or Salou.
